Josh & Leslie from Louisiana

The name says it all.... Restoration House. It was a place for our family to find quiet moments alone with God and with each other and to truly restore our souls for even just a few days. We went during the off season, in the winter and were still able to enjoy the beach, the pools, the trails and the quiet breeze of the Gulf. The house was more than enough for our family of 6. We just couldn't ask for more kind hosts to offer such a gift to us as a pastoral family. Phil and Lou seek the Lord with all their hearts and in turn are some of the most generous servants you may ever meet. "He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake" Psalms 23:3

Erin & Eric from Washington

We loved that we were able to enjoy warm sunny days at the beach in November.  We played tennis at the local courts and often walked around the trail at the pond in the neighborhood. We tried a lot of different restaurants and were always pleased! Brozinni's Pizza just around the corner is great. Food Trucks in Seaside, brunch at Canopy Road, seafood and great atmosphere at Old Florida Fish House.  The Restoration House was a huge blessing and gift to our family!

Justin & Angie from Texas

Our family of four spent an extended weekend at Restoration House, and it felt like a deep exhale. From the moment we walked in, there was a calm about the place. The kind that doesn’t have to be announced, it’s just there, waiting for you. The home is beautifully designed, filled with light, and full of those small, thoughtful details that make you feel immediately at ease. Slow mornings, bikes rides, and toes in the sand were just what we needed. And having restaurants and a grocery store so close made meals so simple. It was the kind of rhythm that makes you wonder why you ever rush back home. What stood out most was how intentional everything felt, nothing flashy, just hospitality that comes from the heart. The house carries a quiet invitation to rest, to breathe, to remember what matters.By the time we packed up to leave, we weren’t just refreshed, we felt restored. Our kids are already asking when we can go back, and honestly, so are we. Restoration House lives up to its name. It’s the kind of place that sneaks up on you (in the best way) reminding you that rest is holy, beauty matters, and time together is the most restorative gift of all.

Michael & Kathryn from Florida

We were able to spend some much-needed time together at Restoration House. The space was quiet, comfortable, and absolutely amazing. Spending time together enjoying good coffee, reading, kayaking at Grayton Beach, and relaxing on the beach was all wonderful. We also enjoyed strolling through the downtown area of Rosemary Beach, visiting Amavida Coffee and Hidden Lantern BooksThank you for this ministry!

Tim from Georgia

Our 'holiday at the sea' was extraordinary. The beaches are super beautiful. The spacious house with 2 neighborhood pools is amazing. Our favorite restaurant was the indoors / outdoors seating at the Old Florida Fish House on Eastern Lake. Our grandkids loved Zoo World in PCB. The whole week was a gift from God.

David & Abby from Virginia

The Restoration House was an incredible gift to us! We hadn't had a vacation that refreshing since our honeymoon. The days felt long, and my wife and I enjoyed long hours of conversation that are hard to come by with the demands of kids and ministry. In particular, we highly recommend Canopy Road Café for breakfast and Pickle's for a delicious burger. Please take the time to visit the Restoration House. Your soul, family, and ministry will be better for it!

Josh & Devon from Texas

Some of our favorite spots along 30A: Playing games at the Restoration House. Scratch Biscuit Kitchen in WaterColor. Cowgirl Kitchen for Burgers in Rosemary. Get the mystery box at Black Bear Coffee in Seaside. Its got good pastries and coffee. Or try an Onyx Coffee at Beachy Bean in Seagrove! Grayton State Park. Rosemary/Inlet Beach for shells hands down. We have a bowl on our table full of shells the kids found there.

Jen & Gregg from Florida

The kids spent most of their time riding bikes & playing tennis in the neighborhood. We walked to Dough Sea Dough Donuts in Seagrove for donuts & coffee almost every morning. We did the Taco Bar in Seaside a few times for quick & fairly cheap lunches. The Beachy Bean on Eastern Lake is great for families with littles & the kids also really liked the Hokulia Shaved Ice.

Johnny & Kathy  from Louisiana

We had a great time away from the demands and busy-ness of ministry, thanks to the opportunity to stay at Restoration House for a few days. Thank you for allowing us the chance to get away. It was time well-spent and a sweet time of refreshing. If you are able to make it to Restoration House, you won’t be disappointed.

John & Lydia from Texas

We may sound like really boring people, but we really would recommend the puzzles & riding bikes at the Restoration House. Also, grabbing chicken tenders / sides from the WaterColor Publix & eating at the house was so easy with lots of kiddos. We loved the big grassy amphitheater in Seaside where the kids played & the Dunes in Grayton Beach State Park

Jon & Tory from Georgia

We thoroughly enjoyed the walking trails in the neighborhood where the house is located. In PCB, Thomas Donut & Snack Shop has a little of everything food-wise & was a great customer experience. Mike’s Seafood & Oyster Bar was also really good.

John & Trina from Texas

We have served in ministry for 45 years and were so excited, blessed & honored to stay at The Restoration House near Seaside, Florida. Our hosts Phil & Lou were so kind & so encouraging. In all of our years of ministry, this was the first time we have ever been offered a week of rest & relaxation! It was so wonderful, from the moment we arrived until we left! The house is beautiful & our time sitting on the beach & watching the sun set was our absolute favorite. Most of all, being able to catch our breath, read, and even nap was so needed! We are thankful this home is dedicated for weary ministers to regroup! And again, knowing Phil & Lou’s team prayed for us & were there to encourage us, made the trip perfect! We will never forget that kindness & will always feel honored we got to stay at the Restoration House!

Laura from Texas

Ghost Crab Pizza in Inlet was a cool place with delicious pizza. And Ponce de Leon Spring was worth the drive for the kids to experience a natural spring.

Jeremy from Texas

That 30A life is just good all the way around. Paddle boarding was great fun! And Turbo Coffee in Seagrove was my favorite coffee & it's really close to the Restoration House.

From our Teenage Guests

We liked riding bikes on the trail in the neighborhood and walking around Seaside. We also liked paddle boarding on Eastern Lake and on the Gulf.
