When a Pastor Burns Out—
the Whole Community Feels It.
Pastoral burnout remains real. Many leaders still carry fatigue, isolation, and the hidden weight of ministry.
“Restoration House gave our family space to breathe, pray, and be together again.”

Stories of
Rest & Renewal
Ministry families describe Restoration House as “a deep exhale,” “the first truly refreshing week since our honeymoon,” and “a quiet invitation to rest, to breathe, to remember what matters.”
Josh & Leslie, Louisiana
The name says it all.... Restoration House. It was a place for our family to find quiet moments alone with God and with each other and to truly restore our souls for even just a few days. We went during the off season, in the winter and were still able to enjoy the beach, the pools, the trails and the quiet breeze of the Gulf. The house was more than enough for our family of 6. We just couldn't ask for more kind hosts to offer such a gift to us as a pastoral family. Phil & Lou seek the Lord with all their hearts and in turn are some of the most generous servants you may ever meet. "He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake" Psalms 23:3
David & Abby, Virginia
The Restoration House was an incredible gift to us! The days felt long, and my wife and I enjoyed long hours of conversation that are hard to come by with the demands of kids and ministry. Please take the time to visit the Restoration House. Your soul, family, and ministry will be better for it!
Johnny & Kathy, Louisiana
We had a great time away from the demands and busy-ness of ministry, thanks to the opportunity to stay at Restoration House for a few days. Thank you for allowing us the chance to get away. It was time well-spent and a sweet time of refreshing. If you are able to make it to Restoration House, you won’t be disappointed.
